Note from the Teacher:
      It is hard to believe we have a little less than four weeks of school left. We will continue to focus on the academics along will finishing up our last novel reading of the year, Johnny Tremain.
     Also, Young Author’s Night was terrific! The kids did a wonderful job sharing their poetry books!

Image result for clip art read ing books    Wow, it is hard to believe our school year is quickly coming to an end. We will continue to learn, study, and work hard until the last day. Thank you for  supporting your child with their homework, assignments, and final projects. We want to finish the year out strong! 
        We have finished our barebooks and are excited to present them at Young Author's Night on April 24. Our class is schdeuled to share from 6:30 - 6:45. Hope to see you there!
         Don't forget our class will be visiting Tryon Palace on April 26th.  Please wear your  WCDS t-shirts and comfortable shoes.  Also, if your child wants to purchase any souvenirs, send money with your child that day.

     Hats off to the fifth grade!  Their Wax Museum presentations were superb!  I am proud of each and every one of them. Thank you parents for all of your help; we could not have done it without you! 
     The students have been working hard on their poetry books and we hope to finish them just in time for Young Author's Night on the 24th.  
       Also, our class will be visiting Tryon Palace on April 26th. Please read and fill out the field trip and lunch forms as soon as possible. Forms and monies are due no later than April 18th.
