We were able to provide some items for the local Community Soup Kitchen.  Thank you for all of your support!  I hope you have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and family!

Note from the Teacher
As we approach this busy time of year, our class will be participating in many fun learning activities and projects.  For several upcoming projects, please send in the following items by Friday the 4h: 1 light bulb1 colored crew or knee sock1 pie tin pan, and 1 medium to large orange.
We will continue to focus on academics as the 2nd quarter quickly comes to an end.  Please help your child come to school rested and  prepared to learn.
Also, we are excited to start reading a new novel, The Witch of Blackbird Pond. This historical fiction novel takes us back to the seventeenth-century, as a young girl experiences the hardships faced by many colonists. This is a great book to help the students learn about the early start of our country. We will be reading this novel both in class and outside of class so please encourage your child to keep up on their reading assignments.
