Newsletter Week of October 1

Oct. 4-8

Note from the Teacher:

      We will start a new novel next week, Indian in the Cupboard. The students will be given a project assignment to be completed once the novel is finished. More project details will be sent home in the coming weeks. Projects will be due after Fall break

Math: Topic 3 Multiplying Whole Numbers *test Wednesday
Topic 4 Dividing by 1 Digit Divisors  

Reading: Indian the Cupboard  - chapter 1-3; vocabulary words

Language Arts: run - on sentences/diagramming sentences with adjectives and direct objects

Science: 

Social Studies: Study states and capitals; Chapter 1 Life in the Western Hemisphere
