     We had a wonderful time meeting and reading with our book buddies. We will start a new novel next week, Indian in the Cupboard. The students will be given a project assignment to be completed once the novel is finished. More project details will be sent home in the coming weeks. Projects will be due after Fall break

Newsletter September 18

Note from the teacher


        Way to go fifth graders!

 The class has finished learning the states in each
region of the United States.
Now it’s time to test their knowledge on the entire USA
        We have had a really good week! Thanks for coming to school prepared and ready to learn. Please look for your child's progress report in their Friday folder.
        Continue to encourage your child to work on his/hers state project which is due on Thursday the 21st. Also, I will be offering tutoring sessions each Wednesday beginning September 27 from 3:15-3:45. This time will be used to strengthen weak areas or prepare for test but not to complete homework. Please write a note in your child's planner each week if they are to attend.

Newsletter September 4 Grandparent's Day


Mrs. Creger's Fifth Grade News
       Welcome GRANDPARENTS! We can't wait to visit with our grandparents on Monday the 11th.

Note from the Teacher

We are excited to be receiving Chromebooks this year. Each student will receive a Chromebook device to use during the school year.  A contract agreement will be sent home in Friday folders for each student and parent to review, sign and return. As part of our weekly instruction, the students will begin learning Chromebook rules and procedures. Each student will be responsible for providing a protective case for their Chromebook. Earbuds or headphones will be needed as well. The model type and size is Lanovo Chromebook N23 Touch 80YS000CUS 11.6 inches  
        Please encourage your child to be a smart, considerate, and respectful student. Thank you for the support! Have a safe Labor Day weekend!
