Newsletter Week of November 4

Note from the Teacher
The fifth grade class will be visiting the local Community Soup Kitchen on November 26. This is a wonderful opportunity for our class to reach out and make a difference in our area. The students will help prepare and serve a meal to those less fortunate. In addition to helping feed others, I would like to ask that our class, as well as the lower school and early years, help provide paper products to serve the patrons. Paper plates, napkins, plasticware, cups, tin foil, plastic wrap, baggies, etc. are always in great need. Any donations of items will be accepted any time up until the November 25.
For this trip, I am asking that the kids wear their WCDS t-shirts and bring a bagged lunch to eat that day. It is going to be a neat experience for everyone. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give me a call. As always, thank you for making our school experience a great one.
