Newletter Week of November 12

Note from the Teacher
Don’t forget to send in paper products (paper plates, bowls, napkins, silverware, cups and baggies/wrap) for the local Community Soup Kitchen. We will be collecting donations until Monday the 19th.
Also, we are excited to start reading a new novel, The Witch of Blackbird Pond. This historical fiction novel takes us back to the seventeenth-century, as a young girl experiences the hardships faced by many colonists. This is a great book to help the students learn about the early start of our country. We will be reading this novel both in class and outside of class so please encourage your child to keep up on their reading assignments.
Tutoring Sessions will be held each Tuesday after school from 3:15-3:45.  If your child is interested in staying, please write a note each week in their daily planner indicating your child has permission to stay.  Thank you for your support!
