Newsletter Week of March 23 - 27

Note from the Teacher

We have had a great week of virtual learning! Thank you for all of your support! Each day has been more fluid as the students have adapted to distance learning. I am very proud of how the students have responded to this change.  Just a few reminders to help create a positive environment while distance learning occurs:                                                                     

• Be on time so we can start on time
• Be organized with all necessary materials and assignments
• Be mindful of classroom rules that can be applied to distance-learning
• Be ready at a work space, table, or desk during learning and school time
• Be respectful of the learning environment, free from distraction

GOOGLE CLASSROOM

This week I will be talking to the students about using Google Classroom to help us communicate and work together. Google Classroom will allow me to create, share, grade, and collect assignments. I will be able to give feedback, make announcements, and answer questions in real time, even out of the classroom.

Math: Topic 12 Perimeter and Area             

Reading: Weekly Concept:  Take Action                           
Essential Question: What can people do to bring about a positive change?

Language Arts: Pronoun and Verb agreement

Spelling: Homographs

Science: Water on Earth
